Today I made a visit to your clinic. I wanted to express how impressed I was with your facility. The personnel you had working did an excellent job and I was in and out quicker than any doctors visit I have ever had. The doctor was very thorough and answered all my questions, easing any concerns. I would like to thank you guys one more time. Keep up the good work. God Bless you in the New Year to come.

Our patients are asked to complete a satisfaction survey so that we can continually be mindful of ways to better meet their needs.  These surveys are presented to our Board of Directors and to you on our Quality Assurance link. Patients (and their family members) and our volunteers are encouraged to share their experiences at our clinic.

When we receive stories, we’ll post here for you to read.

Text Box: I was a patient today at the Bethel Free Health Clinic. I’ve been experiencing symptoms of hypertension. I had gotten sick at work and unfortunately had to visit the emergency room. The doctor advised me to get a follow up. I came here. I cannot afford insurance at my job and was unable to be seen at the Coastal Clinic. The staff/volunteers were great!! Everyone was very pleasant. Having this health care facility is a blessing to the community. Thank You !!

Here’s a note we received from one of our patients who completed the satisfaction survey on October 1, 2009:

Text Box: 10/1/09

I am a 38 year old female that lost my job in July 09. Before that time I have always worked and had health insurance. I have applied for disability due to adult congenital hip dysplasia, 2 herniated disc, arthritic conditions, TMJ and anxiety and depression. I am a single mother of 2 children and I am unable to afford my current prescriptions and health care due to my financial situation. I learned of this clinic from the Red Cross. For someone in my position this is such a blessing to have a clinic that can help me during this difficult time. The staff and doctor have been very friendly and so helpful. For someone who has worked all their life since age 15 it is very hard to be in the position I am in.

This clinic provides such a valuable service to those in need. As I have set in this waiting room area there is all types, all kinds of individuals needing health care. It is obvious that these people as well as myself need this clinic.

The Lord has truly blessed all of us by providing a way to help us through this clinic. His angels are hard at work and he is proud.

Thank you again for this service. Words cannot begin to touch the meaning it has to each one of us.

Sincerely,

XXXXX XXXXX

Text Box: To Whom It May Concern,
August 29, 2005 was the most devastating time in my life. Hurricane Katrina left us jobless, homeless and without medical attention. This left my family destitute. We couldn’t afford food let alone heath care. I heard about Bethel Clinic; this life-saving clinic gave us hope. The medical attention we received with love and inspiration helped us make it. There were serious medical needs and this clinic rose to the challenge and is still rising to help. I don’t have health insurance. I have a part-time job and I now know that Bethel is here when I am in need of medical attention. Medicine, education of medical problems, and solutions or preventions of such problems. They have always shown love and concern no matter race, creed or color. We need them on the Coast. We need their love and understanding. We benefit form their devotion. Yes, we benefit from Bethel Clinic.
A most grateful and thankful patient,
